Visions On A Sunday Stroll

My new favorite place to visit on the weekend when I get the chance to run out on my own for a few hours is chock full of photo opportunites, lovely little shops and my most favorite place to stop for a spot of tea.  I got the chance to go out this past weekend with camera in tow and relax behind the lens.  This weekend I plan on taking a trip to a park that I have not visited in 3 years, but is one of my favorite places to go.  It is on the border of New York and Mass….you literally can have one leg in each state….it’s complete with a waterfall, babbling brook and amazing views of nature…in fact it is a bit of poetry :) I hope to take some pictures and capture some of it’s beauty though I know my camera won’t do it justice…we’ll see how it goes. If i dont end up making it there I discovered a bunch of amazing photo-ops this morning on a nice morning drive around town. Anyway…have a lovely weekend!

“A Tale To Tell” – If I had a CD cover…this is what it would be :)

It feels like forever since I have updated here…just been enjoying the fabulous summer weather.  I just wanted to post a quick update to say that I am finally getting to updating Rustic Relics, so please pardon any construction you may see while visiting.

Other than that not much really new.  I enjoyed going to my first Kirtan this past week with my good friend Thea.  It was given by David Newman aka Durga Das and his lovely partner MIRA as well as local percussionist Rich Goodheart (what a fabulous last name :)).  It was such a fun and uplifting experience.  I have heard Indian mantras chanted and sung before and how beautiful they have sounded, most especially Hare Krishna, and had always felt a pull to join in and try it…little did I know how fun and heartwarming it could be :)

Anyway, I’m off to go work on the site and get some other things done, i hope to update here again soon :) Hope you are having a wonderufl summer! Namaste.
